Installation

Installing via WordPress Admin

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file.
  2. Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
  3. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  4. Click Choose File, select the ZIP file, and click Install Now.
  5. After installation, click Activate.

Installing via FTP

  1. Extract the ZIP file to get the wc-auto-complete-orders folder.
  2. Connect to your server using an FTP client (e.g., FileZilla).
  3. Navigate to /wp-content/plugins/.
  4. Upload the wc-auto-complete-orders folder.
  5. Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins in the WordPress admin panel and activate the plugin.

How to Use the Plugin

Enabling Auto-Complete for Paid Orders

  1. Go to WooCommerce > Auto-Complete Orders.
  2. You will see a checkbox:
    • Enable Auto-Complete: Automatically marks orders as completed when payment is successful.
  3. Click Save Changes.

Now, all successfully paid orders will be marked as Completed automatically.

How It Works (Technical Overview)

  1. When an order is placed, WooCommerce triggers the woocommerce_thankyou hook.
  2. The plugin checks:
    • If the Auto-Complete feature is enabled.
    • If the order is paid in full.
    • If the order is not already completed.
  3. If all conditions are met, the order status is updated to Completed.
