Overview

The WooCommerce Extension – Coredo plugin allows store owners to set a minimum order quantity for each product in WooCommerce. When enabled, customers must purchase at least the specified minimum quantity to add the product to their cart.

Installation

nstalling via WordPress Admin

1. Download the plugin ZIP file.
2. Log in to your WordPress admin panel.
3. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
4. Click Choose File, select the ZIP file, and click Install Now.
5. After installation, click Activate.

Installing via FTP

1. Extract the ZIP file to get the wc-auto-complete-orders folder.
2. Connect to your server using an FTP client (e.g., FileZilla).
3. Navigate to /wp-content/plugins/.
4. Upload the wc-auto-complete-orders folder.
5. Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins in the WordPress admin panel and activate the plugin.

How to Use the Plugin

Setting Minimum Order Quantity for a Product

1. Go to WooCommerce > Products.
2. Edit any product where you want to set a minimum order quantity.
3. In the General tab, scroll down to find:
   • Enable Minimum Order (Checkbox)
   • Minimum Order Quantity (Input Field)
4. Check the box and enter the minimum quantity required.
5. Click Update to save changes.

How It Works (Technical Overview)

• When a product has a minimum order quantity set, the product quantity input field will automatically start from that minimum value.
• If a user tries to decrease the quantity below the minimum, WooCommerce will prevent it.
• If a customer manually enters a lower quantity and tries to add it to the cart, the system will adjust it and display a notice.
• The cart page will also enforce the minimum quantity and display an error message if a lower quantity is detected.

• woocommerce_product_options_general_product_data – Adds custom fields to the product edit page.
• woocommerce_process_product_meta – Saves custom fields when the product is updated.
• woocommerce_add_to_cart_quantity – Ensures the minimum quantity is met when adding to the cart.
• woocommerce_check_cart_items – Checks and enforces the minimum quantity in the cart.
• woocommerce_quantity_input_args – Adjusts the front-end quantity input field to start from the minimum quantity.
